Description
To attain a research position in a biological or biomedical based lab where I can contribute to ongoing studies and provide novel research proposals towards future experimental hypotheses. My focus lies in adaptive immune system development and evolution—including relevant immune cell repertoires, molecular and genetic pathways, cell signaling, and proteomics—as well as the discovery of potential therapeutic applications from animal AIS cell lines/tissues to human diseases and cancers. Additionally, I am interested in pursuing research in shark reproductive biology, evolution of shark sensory system development and genetics, and correlating brain signaling in sharks to social behavior, navigation, and cognition.
