COVER LETTER: To Whom It May Concern: I am writing to express my interest to be part of your organization as an Junior Archaeologist. I have enclosed my resume where I have detailed my qualifications in the field of archaeology and cultural resource management. I believe that my education and experience in this field would fit in well with the ideals of your organization. As my resume indicates, I have been active in archaeology for more than fifteen years, being involved in about 30 archaeological research projects in Central America, and having led approximately 20 of them. I have disseminated most of my archaeological findings and knowledge by participating in international congresses as a guest lecturer in countries such as El Salvador, Mexico, United Kingdom, and Spain, with many publications in Spain and Latin America. I am able to work well with computer software for mapping, drawing, teaching, presentations, administration, and others, including MS Office. I have had training in Canada, United States, Japan, and in some Latin American countries. I am familiar with Canadian archaeology, thus having a Master's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of British Columbia (UBC) Okanagan campus, with a focus on the uses of archaeological resources for the development of communities. Currently, I am an Expert Member of the International Committee on Archaeological Heritage Management (ICAHM/UNESCO). I believe that I can be a valuable asset to your institution due to my expertise and my passion about archaeology and cultural diversity. I sincerely hope to meet with you and your staff in the near future. Fabricio Valdivieso
