Description
I spent over 10 years working as a Mechanical Engineer. The industries include building MRI unit, nylon fiber and Mylar film production. The following manufacturing process skills were obtained: Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, FDA and ISO Quality standards, Ergonomic Safety engineering, Supplier Quality Auditing, Auto CAD. After these experiences, I moved to China to learn Mandarin Chinese and start up my own company. After living in mainland China for 9 years, a trading Company was built and is now successfully self managing. I accomplished many things over these 20 years of working experience such as reduced MRI cycle time by 60%, improved quality yields by over 30%, worked with suppliers to improve their supplier quality ratings by 25%, and did Six Sigma ergonomic projects that improved workstation safety for 75% of the employees. Also became bilingual in Mandarin Chinese while learning the Chinese culture. I successfully hired 10 Chinese employees, managed them, and trained them in my trading company’s business operations. My permanent address is located in South Carolina, but I also have a temporary address in China. I seek to move back to the US and relocate to find a Supply Quality Engineering type of job which can utilize my engineering skills and Chinese abilities.
