On December 19th, 2015, I graduated with a Master of Science in Information Systems and Operations Management (ISOM) from University of Florida. This degree program made me understand the importance of the integration of the computer skills with the functional areas of management and gave me a more blended academic experience. My previous jobs have helped me emerge several skills, which would be useful in this position. I worked in Accenture as a Software Engineering Analyst from April 2011- Dec 2013 where I worked for Farmers Insurance Group on Lotus Notes technology. In the journey, I came across umpteen technical and functional problems that could pose threat to a business and deeply analyzed how technical and functional aspects of a business problem collaborate with each other. I also worked as an IT Application Developer Intern in Jabil Circuit from May 2015- August 2015 which gave me an awesome experience working on the new-gen technologies getting developed in the IT department and getting implemented in the manufacturing lines of such a huge manufacturing company. I was able to witness how the supply chain works and collaborates with other internal departments and external companies to fulfill the needs of the respective clients. Now, after graduating from the ISOM (Information Systems and Operations Management) student at University of Florida, I get a clearer view by correlating my past experience with the theoretical approach and explanations of how businesses work and use technology to stay ahead in the market. Also, under the influence of some of the best minds in business, I have improved upon my interpersonal and communication skills and in process of learning the essential tools to analyze, improve and position a firm's operations to achieve the best fit with the firm's competitive strategy, marketing priorities and financial constraints in my ongoing and upcoming courses. My goal is to work for a reputed company, gain experience, improve my skill set, and develop a long term relationship with the company. The opportunity to work alongside a strong professional team would provide a compliment to my academic and experienced background. As a hardworking, goal-driven, focused, and self-motivated individual, I possess the potential to add value to the company.
