I find myself no longer watching movies, but observing them; every shot, every detail, every decision made. It becomes a point when I realize film is in everything I do and see. This is why working as an editor would be such an incredibly rewarding experience. My passion has exponentially grown into an obsession, an unexpected dream that was sparked the very first time I was introduced to the idea of film during my studies as a broadcast journalism major at Penn State University. I am a qualifying candidate based on my five years of production experience. I am proficient in Final Cut Pro and my versatile shooting and editing can conform to any style. I currently own a Canon 7D and Panasonic GH3 and have also worked with the Canon 5D and Sony A7S. I am currently editing a documentary that I directed and filmed in Honduras. This is more than just what I do, this is who I am; it's what keeps me going day to day. I am so incredibly passionate, driven and talented and I will not stop until I reach my goals. I have proven through my work and my studies that I am fully capable of conceptualizing a story from start to finish. I hope there never comes a day when I run out of challenges because I am always eager to learn something new, adhering to new opinions, different perspectives, all the while adapting and adjusting my own style.
