I Shivani Pandya, am currently pursuing a master’s degree in the field of Pharmaceutical Administration, at the University of the Sciences, Philadelphia college of pharmacy Please accept this letter and the enclosed resume as part of my application for a position of a Statistical SAS Programmer at your prestigious firm. As a master’s student at Philadelphia college of Pharmacy, I have not only developed good analytical , statistical programming, research-oriented and critical-thinking as well as decision-modelling skills, but have also learnt how to apply them in a multitude of different set-ups with some experience while working on projects and writing academic papers. Courses like Statistics for Public Health, SAS programming and Data Analysis, Statistics in Clinical trials, Public Health research and Epidemiology, Survival Analysis and Quality Measurement and Data Analysis that I took from the philadelphia college of pharmacy have given me sound technical insights in strategic ally designing clinical trails as well as strong decision analysis skills. These will be very beneficial to me in this position .I have worked on several projects in which I performed data-cleaning,formatting and several other analytical skills using SAS 9.4 . Using my proficient research methods and analytical techniques , I feel I can be the perfect candidate for a position at your esteemed company. I believe that this quality is integral to being a good biostatistician. The numerous seminars and competitions that I participated in have polished my technical, leadership and communication skills. I have been able to successfully apply collective brainstorming and problem solving techniques, and garner enough motivation from my advisors to emerge on top at the end. I have also picked up abilities such as quick thinking, making hard decisions and taking responsibility.
