Summary of Key Accomplishments: * Established first annual budget and budget v actual reporting winning a GFOA budget award for City of Newcastle, Washington. * Established a revenue cycle management system addressing reimbursement issues resulting in an increase in revenue of more than $100K annually. * Implementation of Sox compliance for Cleveland Community hospital. * Established reporting for manufacturing start up including break even, profitability by product line and cost center, gross margin, COGS, forecasting, budget v actual and variance reporting, and develop costing rates for NRA and other billing related processes. * Converted a manual accounts receivable system to a computerized application increasing cash flow by more than $100,000 per semester at Bastyr University. * Established a newly incorporated City Government Accounting system and built it from the ground up applying governmental fund accounting and BARS at the City of Newcastle, Washington. * Implemented a monthly physical inventory system providing for accuracy in inventory valuation and reduced physical inventory time by eight hours per month at Variable, Inc. * Implemented full absorption costing/burden rate cost allocation for Variable, Inc allowing for proper costing method and compliance. * Implemented contract review and process improvements that resulted in additional accounts receivable collections of more than $500,000 annually. * Implemented cost saving and revenue increasing processes that impacted the bottom line by $100K per year for a manufacturing start up). * Increased grant funding to $100,000 per year for a nonprofit food program. * Lead project manager over two successful computer system conversions.
