Description
I was an Assistant District Attorney with the Harris County District Attorney's Office for thirteen years. My first six years of practice were in the Trial Bureau, in which I prosecuted all manner of misdemeanor and felony crimes and tried 60+ jury trials. My last seven years of practice have been in the Asset Forfeiture Division, in which I prosecuted civil lawsuits to forfeit property used in the commission of criminal activity or gained through proceeds obtained therefrom. I handled these cases from filing through trial and judgment, including all pre-trial motions, discovery, and hearings in between. While I enjoyed my work greatly, at this point in my career, I am seeking new challenges and a transition to a new area of practice.
