Accounting/Bookkeeping position to provide the management team with my experience. RESPONSIBILITIES I have reported the financial position to management, including variance analysis schedules. I have been responsible for the preparation of financial statements, special reports, budgets, cash flow analysis, and various tax returns. I was in charge of the accounting and bookkeeping departments. I have been responsible for approval of credit, invoicing sales, and recording and making deposits. Processed vendor invoices, making them ready for payment. Prepared and processed payroll both internally and also using a payroll service. Reconciliation of bank accounts on a monthly basis. I posted entries to the proper books of account, including preparing monthly recurring journal entries. I also prepared the general ledger and took of a balanced trial balance. I made collection calls when needed and excelled in general office work and communication. Experience with computers and software packages including Quickbooks Pro, Quicken, ACCPAC PLUS, Microsoft Excel, ADP, and a few other systems. I also was in Public Accounting where I planned and administered audits of corporations of different sizes. I was also responsible for the accuracy of my client's Financial Statements.
