I have 30 years experience that includes 9+ years with non-profits. I am a professional, ethical individual who works tirelessly to make sure all details are given the necessary time and attention and I will put in countless hours beyond those that are required. I will keep in place the structure, oversight and controls that make your organization financially sound. As my resume will demonstrate, my accounting career started with gaining invaluable experience in public accounting, obtaining my CPA, and is now geared towards working with non-profits. Strengths include strategic thinking, budgeting, general ledger, financial statements, cash management, internal and external reporting including 990 tax returns and audits, computer systems/software, cash flow projections, and team building. I have a strong passion to be a servant leader and to make sure others (CEO/President, Finance/Audit Committees, Board, Department Directors, etc.) highest priority needs are met. I managed organizations with $280,000 to over $100M in revenues. I have worked by myself as the “Sole Accountant” and up to 13 people and have the ability to problem solve and resolve issues as needed. Throughout the course of my career, I have worked closely with CEO’s, Department Heads, Finance/Executive Committees, and the Board. I have a natural ability to communicate/lead and want to make sure everyone understands the processes.
