Description
SUMMARY I am an Information Technology (IT) professional with 25 years of experience. In the field of software management I would have to describe myself as a jack of all IT trades, and a master of none. In the past: I have worked as a software application tester (test case creator, script writer and data setups), programmer (code debugger), packager, builder (configuration manager), data (mining & migration), "tier three" help-desk and sometimes a software application teacher. Most of my skill sets have not transferred from one job to the next. My strength is my ability to adapt and learn a new software skill set as needed, and do so as required in order to be productive. If software was medicine I would describe myself as an IT general practitioner. Skilled: at being part of a team. In the past I have held military security clearances, and I have worked in some extremely regulated software development settings: examples: medical code testing, pharmaceutical drug manufacturing, and military software (device and inventory control). What I am looking for is an opportunity to expand my skill sets in the field of software applications.
