I am a seasoned IT Professional with a broad background in various IT fields. I have an exemplary record and achieved recognition everywhere I have worked. I was the recipient of the Chairman's Award and CIO Award at McKesson Corporation, the Vision and Leadership recognition at Unisource Worldwide, and the Chairman's Award at Georgia-Pacific Corporation as well. Early in my IT career I worked in very technical roles (Systems Programmer, Systems Administrator,Technical Analyst, DBA). I worked in a Management role during my mid-career where I was hand picked by the CIO on multiple occasions to lead key strategic initiatives (Reengineering of IT, Outsourcing IT to IBM, Y2K Program Office, Establishing IT governance and PMO, Outsourcing HR business process to vendors). Later in my career held an IT Leadership role at Unisource Worldwide as part of a 6 member team reporting to the CIO responsible for all of the IT function. More recently I have been in the role of Account Manager which is a key Director level role at McKesson. I was responsible for the successful delivery of a portfolio of IT services totaling $104MM annually for my customer accounts and interfaced regularly with the business unit CIOs and their Leadership teams. I am extremely adept at building strong relationships with customers as well as service providers. I am fluent in Spanish and have worked in an international setting. My career has been in IT thus far, so this may be the most expedient path to another opportunity. However, I have also been thinking of making a shift to an Account Executive role involving consultative sales of a technology product or service or even a non technology role. I'm open to exploring a new non technology career as well.
