Senior Communications Manager Experience in both private and public sectors spearheading international strategic plan public affairs/marketing outreach. Originating videos, brochures, press releases, op-eds, talking points, marketing materials, press kits, letters to the editor as well as managing international conferences, press conferences, public meetings, exhibits and event planning while securing funding for PBS from global agriculture industry. These productions include America's Heartland a magazine-style, half-hour series celebrating our nation's agriculture, Arts Alive, one of KVIE Public Television's signature series dedicated to sharing the work of unique artists, and highlighting community arts organizations and events in the greater Sacramento region and ViewFinder which takes a closer look at interesting topics (education, health, etc.) that are important to you and is the only locally produced series about your community. During this time I traveled extensively throughout the U.S. and abroad and coordinated with local city and county travel experts scheduling location shoots and interviews. Qualified to lead the creative development and execution for video, print, digital and live channels. Drive development and ongoing maintenance of program projects and events while ensuring final products and information reflect a cohesive interpretation of the message. Extensive experience developing special marketing channels for earning public and group support for programs, projects, missions while overseeing a multi-million dollar budget and negotiating annual contracts.
