In 20 plus years, working for the third largest water utility in the United States, was able to solve complex issues through experience and critical thinking as the top Crew Chief on development projects. Worked on many multimillion dollar projects such as Denver International Airport, gaining a reputation for getting things done and being given more responsibility. Created and brought together teams in an environment that previously had disconnects between work philosophies, methodologies and an understanding of project parameters. These teams became the preferred model after their value was measured. Project leaders and engineers requested me on their projects because of innovative problem solving abilities and the ability to communicate across multiple groups. Introduced in-house training using the talents of a diverse workforce to share experiences and knowledge gained. Mentored and trained others in how to communicate better with internal and external customers which created an efficient and productive atmosphere, with a level of job satisfaction for individuals, while saving the company hundreds of thousands of dollars.
