In my first year I reorganized the Management Team to make it more efficient and to take care of the member’s needs. We implemented a Strategic Plan to meet the long term goals of the club. THE RIVER CLUB Kansas City, MO General Manager 2010 – 2013 300 Members, $1,200,000 Annual Total Gross Income comprised of $500,000 in Dues plus $700,000 in Food & Beverage Sales. The River Club is a Private City Club, founded in 1948, and renowned as Kansas City, MO premiere dining & function facility. Responsible for the entire facility. Facility includes a Marina, Outdoor Pool, Fitness Room, Dining Room and Bar. The Club was brand new and opened in June of 2008. Oversaw the construction of the facility. Dealt with all the construction related details. Drafted all the Policy and Procedures for the Club. Installed all the systems to make sure the Club was managed properly. Built a team to open and to operate the facility. Have rave reviews on the first year of operation. THE CUMBERLAND CLUB Portland, ME General Manager 1996 - 2006 550 Members, $1,200,000 Annual Total Gross Income comprised of $400,000 in Dues plus $800,000 in Food & Beverage Sales. Three dining rooms, eight function rooms, in-house laundry, off-site catering. The Cumberland Club is a Private City Club, founded in 1877, and renowned as Portland’s premiere dining & function facility. Responsible for the entire facility. Direct supervision of 24 team members. Direct report to The Cumberland Club President. Renovated facility to “Federal style” - came in on budget and on time. Implemented the Jonas Club Management System. Grew revenue by 50%. Built an operational team, and implemented a business plan, that resulted in Club member’s rating the overall experience “first class”. Set up reciprocal agreements with up to eighty clubs worldwide. General Manager - Sheraton Tara Lexington (Inn), MA 1990 - 1994 Responsible for all operations of a 119 room Colonial Inn style hotel.
