My professional life has been a behind-the-scenes tour of book and magazine publishing--35 years in the making and still growing. I studied journalism in college because I was fascinated by current events and enjoyed writing satirical pieces for my professors. Even though I was armed with a Bachelor's degree from a fine journalism school, my first job in the industry turned out to be in book publishing. Since then I've worked on every side of the book, from shelving in a bookstore to writing and editing them, to printing them overseas. My goals beyond are to continually spread Bright Moments -- through my writing, natural sales capability, and my ability to edit the writing of others into coherent, helpful information that will make a real difference in the lives of people everywhere.
