Description
Experience with complex mainframe applications. Self-starter with strong analytical, design and development skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Able to handle assignments with varying levels of detail in requirements definition – ranging from high-level to very detailed. Experience in obtaining additional information that might be needed by working with team lead and other team members. Develop and articulate a clear understanding of the problem at hand. Design a solution within the context of existing system components and consistent with client's design principles and guidelines. Prepare appropriate design documentation for peer review. Code well-structured and documented COBOL components to implement the solution. Test and debug code as necessary to prepare for QA integration testing. Work with QA team members to debug issues uncovered in their testing.
