Description
With over 25 years of experience in health care, I have established significant expertise in rehabilitation and medical practice redesign. Throughout my career, I have managed clinical staff, provided oversight for business, financial and clinical aspects of medical offices and rehabilitative services. In addition, I have facilitated several practices with the transformation to NCQA recognized patient centered medical homes. I am now involved in the design and implementation of 4 new community family medicine practices, from the ground up, as the result of the ACA. This work is a culmination of all my experiences and expertise in medical practice management, clinical operations and ongoing team-building efforts. Successes include improvement in quality and clinical outcome analysis, physician, staff, and patient satisfaction along with improved efficiencies in financial and operational areas. I desire a position that builds on these skills sets working with various medical practices. I am a licensed Occupational Therapist and a fellow of the American Occupational Therapy Association, with a Masters degree in Communications from the Notre Dame of Maryland University in Baltimore.I have also carried various leadership roles within the rehabilitation field as well as within hospital organizations.
