10 + year’s experience as a Systems Administrator and Data Center Manager. Successfully lead BellSouth and Emory IT-Group in Data Center migration and system upgrades. I won an award for excellence by converting Oracle D.B. disk configuration into a Raid-5 striped configuration, this saved us D.B. downtime. Successfully tuned RMS Billing file by modifying the record bucket size, index size and turning on data compression, this saved three hours of nightly processing time. Wrote and tested Information Systems disaster recovery plan and successfully tested it at the hot-site SunGard twice a year. Experience in troubleshooting in a technical environment.
