During the past 20 years, I have held various field and corporate marketing positions within the retail real estate industry. My most recent position was Vice President of Marketing with The Mills Corporation, a real estate investment trust based in Maryland. For the past 8 years, I developed, planned and implemented all of the strategic marketing, communications, advertising, collateral and events for the company's brand launches and expansions throughout the U.S., Canada and Spain. In this position, I also established and managed 10 field marketing departments, orchestrated 150+ events and activities for up to 10,000 participants, sourced and managed numerous vendors and served as brand manager. Prior to my shopping center industry experience, I held the position of Director of Public Relations for a small PR firm,where I managed a small staff of account executives and handled a wide variety of clients.
