My name is Tom Lake and I just relocated to Reno, NV to be closer to family, girlfriend and home. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Management from Chico State University. I worked for XL Construction a General Contractor construction company in the Bay Area as a project engineer. XL Construction is a mid-sized construction company that performs primarily commercial tenant improvements and smaller ground up projects. As a Project Engineer I have a diverse skill set that encompasses all phases of construction from pre-construction, estimating, scheduling, subcontractor buy out, value engineering, and construction. I also worked in XL Constructions subcontractor concrete division Bradley Concrete, I project managed various projects from tilt-up warehouses, pan decks, slabs, footings etc. Do to the incredibly fast paced work atmosphere and amount of technical projects I have worked on in my career, I believe I could be a huge asset to any company and bring great value.
