Summary of I am the ideal candidate for the Executive Director position because I possess a unique combination of over twenty six years of leadership policy planning and analysis program management financial and management experience (including over twelve years of executive level organizational management and leadership) and formal education to successfully lead and support the accomplishments of Federal and private corporate level goals. As a graduate of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Executive Leadership Program through the Brookings Institute with an emphasis on preparing executives for the top five Senior Executive leadership positions and the Key Executive Leadership Program at American University I am prepared to effectively manage lead plan and create the collaborations necessary to accomplish the Central Command's mission. In my career I have gained a tremendous amount of experience in planning developing and advising on organizational activities operations and services. In addition I continue to foster and enhance my leadership in customer service and relations managing financial systems accounting budget formulation and execution financial analysis and conducting internal and external audits/reviews. My graduate studies focused on Executive Leadership in Public Administration. Therefore I have an extensive amount of experience and knowledgeable of administrative regulations that cover human resources strategic planning and research methods diversity in the workplace ethical practices procedures for change management property management and space assessment and marketing and procurement (acquisitions management). My formal undergraduate education has an emphasis on management and accounting. The academic training coupled with several years as an accountant and budget and accounting analyst increased and enhanced my knowledge in the areas of financial risk analysis break-even analysis budget planning and preparation and financial statement preparation and analysis. I am also highly trained and well versed in the areas Management Accounting (Cost) Federal Government Accounting General Ledger Financial Management and Central Service Budget Analysis and Accounting. I effectively and efficiently work with all levels of management organizational leadership administrative and support staff and the other populations internal and external to the organization to gain support and create successful collaborations. My professional experience reflects an integration of diverse knowledge skills and abilities in management leadership and administration which I have utilized and built upon to enhance my operational effectiveness within the organizations that I have lead and managed. In this way I have taken aggressive steps to become thorough in my professional training and development. I am confident that if selected I will prove to be a great asset and valued member of the leadership team and an exemplary leader within the organization.
