I am a Masters student in Mechanical Engineering actively looking for opportunities as a Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineer • More than 3 years’ experience working as a researcher in Manufacturing and Design • Published 2 journal papers on novel ways of carrying out Additive manufacturing • Proficient in manufacturing concepts including Additive Manufacturing, composite manufacturing, casting, welding, electrochemical machining, CNC controlled machining, micro and nano manufacturing • Proficient at designing and building CNC machines/controllers • Internship experience at a multinational automotive component manufacturing company • Student lead of an industrial project tasked with investigating failure of rebar during bending • Proficient at modelling and simulation software including Solidworks, CATIA, Pro/ENGINEER, GD&T, AutoCAD • Proficient in Quality control and Statistical process control techniques (SPC) • Well versed in the concepts of Lean Manufacturing, Design for Manufacturing & Assembly (DFMA), Six Sigma • Hands on experience with lathes, milling machines, CNC's, welding
