Director of Annual Giving for a not-for-profit camp and retreat center focused on children with special needs. I am familiar with a variety of areas of fundraising and marketing for non-profit organizations. I also have experience with program and educational curriculum development, with a special focus on environmental education and advocacy.

Highlights:
- Secured funding for Ramapo to become an AmeriCorps project site. Successfully managed AmeriCorps grant for the past 4 years, and received renewed support for the program from the Corporation for National and Community Service; - Developed, designed and produced Ramapo's first Annual Report; - Member of the inaugural Jewish Greening Fellowship, a project of UJA-Federation of New York and Isabella Freedman Jewish Retreat Center; - Developed and managed Ramapo's first annual Alumni Phone-a-thon, which raised over $25,000 for our Annual Fundraising appeal, and increased first time donations by 25%.Keywords
Responsibilities
Work experience includes: researching, writing and managing grants from private foundations, corporations and government sources (AmeriCorps); overseeing production and distribution of annual fundraising appeal; managing donor database of 10,000; directing production of all online and printed donor communications (print newsletter mailed 2x/year; annual report; online newsletter produced 4x/year; social networking updates; and more); coordinating agency fundraising events; and managing Board relations.
