Dear Human Resource Manager, I am applying for the posted position of--------- I have worked in law enforcement for 13 years as a police officer, school resource officer, probation officer, community service officer and city code enforcement officer. Working in these various positions have allowed me the chance to interact with the public, young and old. Due to my experience as a police officer, I am experienced in communicating with the public, speaking in public forums, court room testimony, the interviewing process, procedures and techniques. I also possess the interpersonal skills to communicate with the public as required for this applied for position. I am familiar with case management process and writing reports.
