AREAS OF EXPERTISE * Proven track record in individual major gifts fundraising and capital campaigns and in direct solicitation of donors/prospects with over 10 years' experience dealing with budgets form 500 K to $ 15 Million and working with leadership, Board of Directors, staff and programs. * A comfort with technology and ability to utilize Microsoft Office applications, as well as knowledge of fundraising databases. * Expert in Social Media, mail marketing, website development and management, social media strategy. * Uses Social Media to connect with fundraising and development. * Excellent public speaking, presentation and written communication skills, fast paced, multitasking, excellent in delegating responsibility. * Identifies, cultivates, and builds trusted relationships with major donors and prospective major donors to generate new and increased giving. * Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a wide variety of potential donors and supporters and ability to maintain effective communications with staff, volunteers and help to ensure the growth of both volunteer and donor prospect bases and event coordination * Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, creatively and flexibly in a dynamic fast- paced environment. * Dynamic speaker, dedication to children and education. * Strong budgeting, strategic planning, marketing skills, excellent written and verbal skills. * Event planning experience in the production of events, including working with outside vendors, soliciting gifts-in-kind, and organizing production of various elements critical to the event's success.
