Description
My undergraduate degree is Industrial Safety with a minor degree in Industrial Security that I received from CMSU which has recently been renamed as UCM-University of Central Missouri, Warrensburg, Missouri. I was inspired to obtain a degree in that field of study due to the fact that my late Father died over 40 years ago out on the road as he was finishing a cross-country haul the same week I turned six years of age. This was 3 years before the OSHAct was passed and thought a degree in that would honor his memory. My work experience began in law enforcement, but the lion's share of the last two decades, I've spent in employ with delivery of/ oversight of that delivery in social/community-based/mental health services. I wished that sometime in my time here I'd be afforded the opportunity to obtain credentials enough to pursue journalism and mass communications, as that had been my top interest consistently outside of work. I blog regularly in terms of politicial concerns and news as it happens, should it not be within the realm of political genre.
