If you are reading this, then something caught your attention. That was intentional. I don’t contact employers that have placed want ads. By then it’s too late and your inbox is flooded. Instead, I contact the best firms that demonstrate a growth trend and successful track record. Not unlike the stock market, but in my case, I place myself as a blue-chip stock in a Bear market. Why? I am an exceptional balance of full Design & Construction knowledge. And capable of conveying this to client and staff alike. If your employees are not your most valuable stock, then you’re not getting the best ROI. Turn-over can be a good metric for job dissatisfaction, but it does not measure the cause. As a Program Manager for Operations, I have successfully turned poorly performing projects and staff into winning assets in my role as cleaner, facilitator and mentor. My projects consistently close-out on time and under budget. There is no magic formula for my success other than accountability, oversight and methodology. Not to be confused with micro-management, the 20-80 rule is still relevant. Design fees have historically provided slim profit margins, so there is no room for rework.
