Spanish Medical Interpreter/Translator

I am a Spanish education professional with over 20 years of experience teaching teens and adults. I have extensive education in Spanish and experience living in and traveling to Spanish-speaking countries. I completed the University of Memphis School of Public Health “Health Care Interpreter Course-Level 1” (40 hour course plus 10 hours of Practicum) in June, 2014. The course is accredited by the IMIA (International Medical Interpreters Association) with Distinguished Accreditation. I have begun the Medical Interpreter Certification process through The National Board of Certification for Medical Interpreters and will take the written test in the near future. I am seeking a position as a Medical/Health Care Interpreter (Spanish) with a hospital or other health care facility.
