In response to the posting on your Careers web site for the position of Controls Software Engineer I am a strongly, self-motivated and self-directed , highly experienced controls engineer. I am very capable of quickly analyzing any situation and devising the optimal solution. At this point in my career I have worked as a Plant Project Electrical Engineer at General Electric Specialty Materials and a technical lead for a supplier of integrated control systems at Rockwell Automation. I have strong competencies in requirements gathering, OEM and Vendor coordination, safety measures, controls engineering and project management. I have, on several occasions, worked with corporate engineering groups to develop cross organization standards. I have often in my career performed the data analysis to drive out the tier 1 to tier 2 information interface and am well versed in the appropriate software engineering methodologies. I am conversant in a number of programming environments including Visual Basic .NET, VBA, C, C++, SQL, PLC Ladder Logic and Block Structured languages.
