Seeking an adjunct, part-time- or consulting position Teaching ESL, English, or in Curriculum development. Where I can use my exceptional interpersonal skills to help students achieve. I see education as a force for change and individual empowerment. I have been a teaching and presenting professional for the past thirteen years in numerous capacities. I look forward to a new challenge and making a positive difference in student’s lives. I have created a variety of curriculum which has integrated technology in support of face to classroom instruction. I am an advocate of using a variety of assessments to assess students learning and to improve lesson delivery and planning. I am up to date on the latest pedagogical practices and instructional design strategies, as a result of my recent completion of my masters program. I spent eight years in the software and internet industry prior to becoming a teacher so I am very comfortable integrating and using technology. I completed my Masters in Education; Curriculum & Instruction:TESOL. I completed the program over the past two years while teaching English as a Second Language and University Academic Preparation. I am committed to ensuring that every student in my classes improves and grows from the classroom experience. I have been an English teacher since 2002. I am a state of California Certificated English Teacher and taught public school for eleven years. Extensive experience in ESL, Culturally Relevant Curriculum Development and Professional Development workshops. Worked for the past twelve years as a certificated English teacher with extensive presentation experience with ESL and other under served communities. A Prior experience in business development and marketing leading multi-million dollar sales and marketing. Onsite training or training / professional development workshops, keynote speaker on a variety of topics, from education to sports. Former Professional Athlete (New York Jets) and Collegiate Athlete (University of Oregon).
