  • Worked in Petroleum Engineering Dept., Cairo Head office – Petrobel – as a reservoir management engineer within a team consists of me, reservoir geologist and production engineer for the following activities in Sinai oil fields (Offshore – onshore), Nile delta, and Mediterranean Gas Fields: - Reservoir monitoring and management plan (pressure maintaining, water flooding and water cut control). - Perform reserves estimation, evaluation & auditing. - Carry out forecast and allocate Reserves following the Company's Guide Line. - Ensure that reservoir studies performed by third parties (HQ or contractor) respect project time and cost are technically sound. - Closely monitor new technologies and carefully consider them in business evaluations. - Ensure quality of the input data used to build the reservoir models - Ensure that production data are correctly inputted into database timely to meet headquarters deadlines. - Production behavior monitoring, reporting, analysis and definition of remedial intervention and optimization strategies. - Monitor the performance of the producing fields and carry out studies to optimize production, increase reserves and suggest new development actions. - Open and cased hole logs interpretation. - Well testing analysis and interpretation. - Skin removal and improving wells productivity. - Fields and wells production monitoring. - Provide operational reservoir monitoring while drilling and testing development/appraisal wells and make sure that relevant technical information is transmitted to management “real time”. - Provide preliminary “quick look” evaluations of in place and recoverable volumes soon after drilling of appraisal/development wells. - Timely support exploration with production profiles for exploration and appraisal wells. - Define programs for sand production prediction and sand control. - Participate to data room and support acquisition/sale opportunities. - Coordinating with exploration to properly plan and locate appraisal wells. - Vertical lift performance and well completion modeling. - Define and updating new fields development plans. - Define new development wells locations. - Produced well considered, full life cycle reservoir management plans to optimize recovery and value. - Production allocation and forecast for the different concessions. - Economic study for Drilling and work over operations (Evaluate job performing compare with well enhancing). - Follow up drilling and workover operations on both shallow & HP/HT deep wells. - Proposal and definition of workover jobs for production optimization (perforation and re-perforation, gas shut-off, water shut-off, upgrading, acidizing, fracturing, Gravel pack & E.S.S.).
