Over the last 25-years, I have built a diverse and comprehensive background in many professional facets of the field of public education. As a building level administrator, I have created, developed and sustained programs through a positive energy and educational vision that was committed to creating the best possible learning environment for children. As a district level director, my experiences expanded considerably and are as varied as developing reading interventions at multiple sites to providing daily transportation to over five thousand resident children to public, charter, parochial and private schools at over sixty locations throughout Allegheny County. As a director, I have successfully participated in both leadership and participatory roles with district Strategic Planning and various other committees. As an integral part of these committees, I have assisted in the creation, development, and direction of numerous central office processes ranging from and relating to facility construction and renovation, budget management, personnel, community relations, emergency management planning and technology. Additionally, I recognize the critical value of developing the human resources that I supervise, providing professional development directly or through responsible resources to expand the service range of both support and professional staff.
