Description
It is important for me to continually seek out creative approaches to teaching younger as well as older students in a way that the students feel successful while being challenged in addition to motivating students to increase their capacity to learn. As a highly motivated individual I strive to perform at the top of my ability. I approach challenges as an opportunity for change which translates into every aspect of my life. Academics are only a part of educating the whole student empowering and motivating students to find the reason for learning the inspiration to be creative and the ability to understand how to use what they learn both inside and outside the classroom is fundamental. Leadership and advocacy for children/students and the entire community as a whole are just as important. Community service is not just meant to do good but a platform to lead by example that will demonstrate to my students what one person can do to improve not just one person's life but many lives. My focus is to keep my feet grounded my heart connected my mind challenged and my body healthy and strong. I aspire to walk the walk not just talk the talk. * Masters of Art and Teaching Degree in education Bachelor's Degree in Spanish Minor in Early Childhood Development and language acquisition Certification in ESL * Experienced in developing programs for both Universities and School systems. * Dedicated to researching and implementing dynamic teaching methods that incorporate student interests and academic requirements with the flexibility to go from basic concepts to detailed information. * Teaching strategies in a way that does not just teach what to learn but how to learn. and Professional Development
