I specialized in metal framing and drywall, worked about two years as a concrete carpenter, about two years as a trim carpenter, did acoustic ceilings and Chicago grid for around a year. 2. I worked as a carpenter/maintenance man for the Volunteers of America, performing carpentry and maintenance work from October 2013 to June 2014. I came back to get my 25th year in the union, but could not achieve my hours. I was forced through lack of money and a divorce to retire from the union. 3 I briefly worked at P.H.A. Scattered sites, where I worked with a laborer and performed kitchen and bathroom upgrades, installation of VCT, minor plumbing and electric. I worked from around 1999 till 2000, the I had to quit due to moving out of the city. 4. I can read blueprints and think on my feet. I am a problem solver and can think on my feet! 4. I've ran work occasionally, one time having an 18 man crew under my guidance. I can also work indendantly, whatever is needed to get the job done.
