Intermediate Accountant & Accounting Assistant

I am actively seeking a career in the finance and accounting field. I possess excellent analytical skills, communication skills, work well in team settings, and am self-motivated. I have more than four years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, journal entries, reconciliation of accounts, and other month end closing processes in compliance with SOX and GAAP. In addition, I am efficient in accruals, use tax reporting, man hours reporting, and the invoice price variance process. I am proficient when using Windows, Excel, Microsoft Office, Outlook, and PowerPoint® as well as spreadsheet and pivot table preparation. I achieved a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Accounting in May of 2011, graduating with a 3.82 GPA. I am currently working toward a Master’s in Accounting and currently have a 3.83 GPA. I would like to have the opportunity to utilize my degrees in the finance and accounting field.
