To whom it may concern, To me, teaching is not a job, but a true passion of mine. It is what I love to do. Everyone is born with a purpose in life. I have a strong calling to remain in school and classroom setting and educate the youth of this country. I am a fighter and a believer in social justice. For the past three years, I have embraced every rewarding and challenging moment that I have had with these children. All students deserve a fair chance at success and life. My true passions and beliefs as a teacher remain constant with the idea that all students, regardless of their ethnicity, will become someone important in this life and learn how to believe in themselves. I empathize with students, respect them and genuinely believe that each and every one of them has something special that can be built upon. In order for students to learn how to believe in themselves and to succeed in the outside world my future classrooms will be full of scholarly work, joy factor, consistency, firmness, respect among students and a rigorous learning environment that feels like home to everyone. With my extraordinary undergraduate record at the University of Illinois at Chicago, my graduate efforts at National Louis University and my five year commitment to educating students of all ages thus far, I am prepared to be an effective teacher. I have observed, implemented and mastered best teaching practices. My resilience, dedication, ability, hard work and leadership skills make me a perfect teacher candidate.
