Summary of military experience: Taught at three leadership academies during time in service. Deployed with ambulance company to FRG to participate in REFORGER large field exercise, simulating combat situations. Selected as NCO of the Year and Junior Officer of the Year Participated in training and testing for the Expert Field Medical Badge 120 soldiers and 18 completed. Selected to participate in the Army Enlisted Commissioning Program earned BSN and commission. Responsible for over twenty-five million dollars of equipment field medical station and trucks to carry the hospital, personnel, and personal equipment in the Army. Operations Sargent for largest training company in the Army Medical Department: 1800 soldiers. Developed and taught challenging land navigation course for Senior Leadership Course. Retired from the Army Nurse Corps after 20 years of service.
