BIOGRAPHY - MICHAEL FARRELL Michael Farrell began his career in the United Kingdom where he completed a 4 year Steel Industry recognized apprenticeship and college education Diploma in Process Control and Instrumentation, from North Lindsey College of Technology, UK. After 4 years post degree it became apparent that in the late eighties the Oil and Gas Industry was in its” boom time” which called on Michael to leave the UK and travel to the Middle East and Asia where he resided and worked in various countries throughout the regions, for the next 15 years, at some at some of the world’s largest and complex projects in the Oil, Gas and Petrochemical industry. Recognized in the industry, Michael, for his professional attitude, expertise and integrity, having managed and executed large complex projects he was transferred to the United States to develop and expand a new company involved with supplying state of the art technologies to the Oil and Gas industry in the global offshore industry. After 6 years Michael was asked to change his direction and accept a senior management position at one of the world’s premier and prestigious OEM companies involved in the Gas Turbine Power Generation industry where he was dealing with major Fortune 500 companies / clients on various Greenfield and Brownfield global projects After a successful period of more than 5 years Michael was approached by a major European EPC company to take over control the Global Commissioning Division to execute the successful integration, commissioning and startup of various large complex oil and gas facilities both domestic and global locations, including LNG terminals, pipelines, metal refineries and offshore facilities / vessels. After holding various technical and executive positions in the industry Michael wanted to take ALL his knowledge and leverage within a boutique engineering company and expand into the vast growing, Renewable Energy market. After three years, completed a major offshore project in the Gulf of Mexico ahead of schedule Michael decided to seek further challenges in the industry. Michael has committed to take his position in the industry to the highest levels and make a difference and as such is now in the process of becoming a proud American Naturalized Citizen.
