I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting in May, 2003 from University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (UCCS). I received my MBA in Finance and Accounting in September, 2006 from Regis University at Denver, Colorado. I have over 20 years experience in accounting, of which over 12 years is in non-profit/Fund accounting, over 3 years in Human Resources, and over 5 years in Banking. I have acquired great skills in meeting all the requirements of successful annual financial audit for a whole organization. I was also able to save the organization of about 40% of the audit cost by reducing the number of days used for auditing. I have strong interpersonal, managerial, written, and verbal communication skills. I am very industrious, dependable, and hardworking. I designed standard operating procedure for the accounting department. It led to a reduction in training cost because it made it easier for employees to perform their jobs without too much outside training. I work well independently as well as in a team. I have worked with employees with diverse backgrounds and my team has always exceeded its team goals. Due to my direct involvement with people, I have gained a lot of customer service skills, which will be of great benefit to your company I am very proficient in Microsoft office and Foundation Information Management System (FIMS) and other accounting softwares such as QuickBooks. I have acquired great skill in financial transactions: accounts receivable and payable, account reconciliation, general ledger, financial statement preparation and analysis, etc.
