Major Responsibilities

I possess extensive experience in valuation analysis for many commercial property types, sale/lease transaction management, and prospect conversion. I received my degree in Economics for Business Management, and I last year completed my CCIM designation (Certified Commercial Investment Member). In my current role, I represent landlords by reducing their property taxes at the County Assessor and Assessment Appeals Board in multiple Counties throughout Southern California. The most common types of appeals I represent are Lien Date Decline in Values, Proposition 8’s, and Base Year Appeals. My daily responsibilities include initial prospecting, preparing and presenting hearings, invoicing, and collecting compensation. Since my commencement with Tax Assessment Associates LLC, I have secured over 100 clients and properties which have garnered a database of approximately $300,000,000 worth of real estate. My most notable transactions while at Colliers International and Sperry Van Ness included 1031 exchanges from multi-tenant properties to major national single tenant brands such as Jack in the Box, Walgreens, and Sonic Burger. These investments offered minimal management responsibilities, more stable credit, and long term leases for the owner. In addition, I represented Fresenius Medical (World’s #1 Largest Dialysis Clinic) and helped facilitate a new 10 year lease with a build-out for their Van Nuys Presbyterian Hospital location in 2010. I am a widely trusted advisor, creative thinker, and accomplished problem solver who sets specific, measurable, challenging yet achievable goals.
