Consolidated two consumer gas card portfolios with $2B held by two card issuers to one card issuer; efforts increased consumer and commercial card net income from $57M to $80M net operation income. •Delivered projected $103M incremental revenue increase in NPV on capital investment of $65M by leading cross-functional team to develop/implement oil industry’s 1st EPOS solution, effectively separating credit card process from BP’s internal POS system. Process originated from need to reduce use of nine POS systems created by BP and Amoco merger to single card processing solution for 10K retail and fueling locations.
•Delivered 500%+ increase in monthly new accounts (565 to 3.33K) by guiding RFP process to revamp commercial fleet card portfolio with new fleet card issuer. Implemented oil industry’s 1st proprietary universal commercial fleet card, selecting FleetCor, Com Data, and MasterCard.
•Developed, negotiated, and launched BP/ARCO 1st-ever proprietary consumer decoupled debit card portfolio and loyalty offer with HSBC Cards and MasterCard by guiding RFP process. Delivered 100K+ new debit card accounts within one year, far exceeding target.
•Expanded Seattle market year-over-year fuels volume by 3.3%+ versus industry standard of less than 2.7% and co-store sales by 7.9%+ in 1st-ever Seattle credit card acceptance and tiered pricing pilot. Led cross-functional team to create long-term payment strategy and business plan, resulting in deployment of senior executive-sanctioned $7.1M pilot project.
