Description
Summary While raising my oldest daughter in my early twenties I worked two jobs and enjoyed doing so. In 1986, I started with a two year old Asphalt Company, G & G Asphalt Inc., I went on to Study for my Realtors license which I received in 1987 - 88 I continued working both jobs for many years. By using some of my marketing ideas I helped to bring sales up from $100,000.00 a year to just over One Million a year. My duties for G & G Asphalt included but were not limited to: Customer Service, Marketing, Payroll, Accounts Payable and Receivable, Scheduling, Hiring, Proposals, Hospitalization, Workman's Comp, and Accounting. I created and implemented a Job Safety Manual and a Job Description Manual that helped to lower the Companies Insurance costs. I mostly enjoyed coming up with ideas to create more business and interacting with both my customers and my Real Estate Clients. My Real Estate job description varied daily, but I started with acquiring as much education as possible. Started selling New Construction, I learned how to and what materials would be needed to build a home from the ground up, I then would hold impromptu, mini seminars, every week-end during my Open houses. This helped to bring sales up for the builder, and helped me to start building a credible and respected reputation that I have been very proud of for the last twenty plus years. I went on to sell and list existing residential homes, apartment buildings, Condominiums, Vacant Land and some Commercial too. I received awards for Rookie of the Year, Million Dollar, Multi and Mega Million Dollar Sales awards. I also received The President's Sales Award and The Quality Service Award given by Clients. I have always tried to not just meet my customers' expectations but to exceed them. I have enjoyed working these past years but decided to try something new, so I packed up, and moved to California. I bought a 30 foot sail boat and now am looking forward to sailing classes and a new job where I can learn and have fun. I now live back in Ohio but travel to California several times a year.
