Allow me to give you a brief overview of who I am, what I have done in the past, and what I can do if given the opportunity in your organization. My name is Todd Eagleton, and I have worked for Advance Auto Parts for 25 years (through acquisition: Fay’s Drug Company /“Super” Drug Store, Wheels Discount Auto, Parts America/Western Auto, & Advance Auto Parts). I have an excellent background in retail from “medium-box” to specialty multi-unit retail, managing 14 to 20 store locations at one time. I also have an extensive training background from training General Managers to groups of team members/employees from Management to Regional Vice Presidents. It’s not so much where I have worked, and what I have done, but, who I am. My Leadership skills are defined by results and not attributes. It’s the capacity to turn a vision into reality by focusing on a solution, not a problem. Doing this through inspiring people, as it’s not about managing a business, but about motivating & inspiring (managing) people. I have many financial accomplishment listed on my resume, and prided myself in double-digit comparative sales, exceptional cost control(s), greatly exceeding Operating Income, to name a few. What means the most, and has brought the greatest feeling of satisfaction/ “self actualization” to me is, the opportunity to help others succeed, and to develop my team members to next level positions. To see team members/employees become their best, and many become Leaders. The positive financial results will always follow. My belief is we do not all have the ability to be sports stars, rocks stars, etc., but we all have the ability to be the BEST at what we do.
