As you can see from my enclosed resume, my bachelors degree from LSU in chemical engineering as well as my current laboratory position require me to have a strong attention to detail which would make me a strong candidate for this position. I do QA work daily. We have very stringent guidelines to follow. i do wet chemistry daily. I also have several years of management experience. I started the, "safety police" at academy. I have over six years of Environmental work. We have to follow EPA guidelines. I work with analytical machines. My minor is chemistry. We work with foodstuffs. Respectfully yours, Edgar Guillot ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ i work for a fully functioning lab. we extracted dna from raw materials(eg corn, rice and soybean) we went from the actual raw materials from corn, soybean, rice we would grind them. we did took the dna out of each sample. we would then test the dna according to our customers desire. i do "wet chemistry" daily. i work with standards of practices(sop), too. i am in charge of the chemistry lab where we make all our reagents. we used a lot of quality assurance documentation. we have to use the documentation every step of the way. we use gas chromatograph for purity and a taqman for genotyping. we also have a mass spectrometer.
