CollapseDescription

I have been designing and creating innovative products for the consumer market for the past 25 years. My award winning work has been featured in numerous publications, and is held in several museum and private collections. I have participated in the finest trade shows as well as being represented in galleries and museums across the country. My work has sold in stores such as Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, and Henri Bendel. As a designer, I stay aware of current design and market trends, as well as having an extensive knowledge of design history. Having designed and produced my own line of products ranging from tabletop to lighting and furniture I possess a comprehensive knowledge of materials and feel confident to design for any aesthetic. More recently I have had the opportunity to design products and packaging for the cosmetic industry. This has given me valuable exposure and insight into commercial design. I was brought in to provide innovative designs for clients who were not content with the stock components. In addition to expanding my design repertoire, I gained experience in dealing with vendors in Asia, including traveling to the factories to oversee production of certain projects. Over the past three years two of my designs have been nominated for package of the year at the HBA show in New York. As a professional with a broad design background I look forward to new design challenges whether on an individual basis or as in collaboration with a team.
