RssPhysician Assistant

I attained a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Pacific University in Oregon. My PA training consisting of 27 months of didactic and clinical education where I gained invaluable experiences in women’s health, obstetrics and gynecology, primary care, community medicine, and numerous other sub-specialties. My clinical experiences were quite diverse and took me to clinics in numerous states and to Roatan, Honduras. I achieved proficiency in effectively collecting medical histories, performing thorough and complete physical exams, ordering diagnostic tests when appropriate, and establishing assessments and treatment plans. In addition to the training I received in my Physician Assistant program, I am also residency trained in obstetrics and gynecology. Fewer than 3% of Physician Assistants nationwide attend residencies, which puts me in an elite group. For this residency, I was hired as a provider by a private OB/gyn group which placed me in a hospital where I worked along side medical residents. I have extensive experience with providing family planning education, performing detailed well-woman exams, performing endometrial biopsies, inserting IUDs, and numerous other OB and gynecological procedures. I also have experience providing prenatal and postnatal care to regular and high-risk OB patients. I possess an excellent work ethic, I am easy to work with, am fluent in Spanish, and I am a quick-learner. With the proper guidance of a supervising physician, I strongly believe I can adapt and excel in the desired role that your facility currently needs. Thank you for your time and consideration.
