Description
I am a Professional Engineer with extensive experience, training, and expertise in water resources, including stormwater, flood control, dam failure, and drainage design for local, national, and international clients. The projects throughout my career have ranged in size from single span bridge replacements for the Colorado Department of Transportation and the Union Pacific Railroad to projects involving major basin and river systems of hundreds of square miles, including the Colorado River Watershed and the Chin Wi Watershed in South Korea. I have extensive training, knowledge, and hands-on use of industry standard software from federal and local agencies such as the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (COE), the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), the Denver Urban Drainage and Flood Control District (UDFCD), and private vendors. In addition to the modeling and design on projects, my experience includes management of project drainage tasks, client and contractor interaction, document preparation, expert technical advice, senior project review, and mentoring. I have been fortunate throughout my career to work with small and large project teams and interacting with my peers to focus on the needs of the client, project quality, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
