Key Qualifications Career Development Facilitator Certified Certified in Guidance Elementary/Secondary (K-12) Responsible for middle school scheduling Provides support services to students, staff, and parents. Support services include referrals, counseling, assessment, diagnostics, and report writing Counsels Kindergartens - Grade eight students to help them understand and deal with social, behavioral, and personal problems Completes assessments, referrals, and counseling with students and families Emphasizes preventive and academic growth by providing special services, including alcohol and drug prevention programs and conflict resolution classes Make oral presentations of assessments, diagnostics, home visits, and observations Conduct professional development workshop on identifying at-risk students Complete written assignments, the school's newsletter, guidance newsletter, assemblies, media events as needed or as requested by the Principal Develops and maintains family outreach programs and community partnerships Consults and collaborates with parents, teachers, school administrators, school psychologists, medical professionals and social workers in order to develop and implement strategies to help students be successful in the education system.
