PMO Director

David Brodrick is an IT PMO Director at Dell bringing nearly 25 years of leadership, problem solving, and management experience to his role. He is currently part of the account leadership team for a Managed Services account in the Financial Services segment. As a senior leader in the Corporate Development and Strategy business function, Mr. Brodrick oversaw a major strategic initiative to integrate and standardize global Services project delivery and establish a minimum standard for project management practices across over 30 lines of business, and nearly 70 customer-facing accounts within Dell Services. Working with all segment leaders and stakeholders in the PMO community, Mr. Brodrick successfully navigated thru barriers to establish a solid set of requirements and gain consensus on an overall architecture. The resulting standard was adopted overwhelmingly and has been recognized by Dell’s executive leadership as a critical enabler to achieving the company strategy. Before joining Dell (formerly Perot Systems), Mr. Brodrick held leadership roles with several small startups with a focus on customers, operations and delivery that benefitted from his extensive background in project management. Additionally, he has held leadership positions with increasing levels of responsibility across a number of projects in various industry segments. He has been responsible for budgets in excess of $12m, leading geographically-dispersed, cross-functional delivery teams to successful outcomes. Mr. Brodrick earned a bachelor’s degree in Building Construction in 1990 from Texas A&M University.
